The live cooking demonstration was a masterclass in Southern cuisine, with Chef Brandie demonstrating how luxury appliances can transform your home cooking into an art.

Chef Brandie treated our showroom guests to an impressive display of culinary art that featured a multi-layered dish reimagining Southern classics.
Fried Tomatillos (a sophisticated spin on fried green tomatoes) topped with mango yellow tomato salsa, crumbled goat cheese, and pickled baby tomatillos from Chef Brandie’s own garden.
Pickled Jalapeño Cheese Stone-Ground Grits layered with a rich black bean puree cooked with sofrito
Buttermilk Fried Chicken in a gluten-free coating, finished with horseradish cream and fresh cilantro
The Boost Feature: A Game-Changer for Your Kitchen
Chef Brandie demonstrated one of her favorite features of the Induction range while preparing the tomatillos. She states, “Let’s say you’re dropping food into boiling water—pasta, something like that. What happens to your water? Temperature drops, absolutely. If you hit the boost feature, it will bring it right back up so you’re not standing around waiting for that second and third batch.”
Wolf Gourmet Mode Simplifies Cooking
For those intimated by choosing cooking modes, consider Chef Brandie’s explanation of how she prepared the buttermilk fried chicken using Wolf’s convection steam oven:
“I marinated our chicken in buttermilk, vacuum sealed it, put it in the sous vide setting for 2 hours. When we drop it into the fry, it only takes maybe two or three minutes because it’s already cooked.”
This combination of steam and convection makes restaurant-level techniques possible at home.
