KBIS 2026 Highlights: 5 Trends Shaping the Industry
Hermitage Kitchen Gallery attended the KBIS 2026 show in Orlando, FL, and we came back to Nashville energized. In fact, in preparation for our Bath Trade Show in Nashville, we’re sharing the five highlights that caught our eye.
Learn more in this article, and join us for our KBIS Insights Talk next week on Thurs., March 26th from 4:30-5:30pm to dive more into these insights and then explore the showroom with us through 8:30pm.
1.) Kohler Dekoda
Kohler has introduced Dekoda, a health-sensing system that attaches to your existing toilet bowl and delivers personalized wellness insights from your daily routine. This product tracks your hydration levels, monitors your gut health, and detect blood in the toilet bowl.
It is a clear example of how the bathroom is being shaped more and more into a wellness focal point for the home.
2.) Kohler Aquifer 4-in-1 Beverage Faucet
The new Aquifer 4-in-1 Tall Arc Beverage Faucet by Kohler delivers ambient water, chilled water, sparkling water, and boiling water, all from a single, beautifully designed faucet at the touch of a button. This is a great way to declutter the countertop because you receive these benefits from one faucet on-demand.
3.) True Appliances’ Espresso Finish
Bold colors are back. In fact, True Caliber, the parent of True Residential refrigeration and Caliber outdoor grills, named Espresso as its 2026 Color of the Year. The Espresso finish is a deep, warm brown that’s luxurious. It pairs great with woods, natural metals, and layered textures.
This is a part of a larger theme in the kitchen and bath industry: Appliances are intentional design focus points, rather than in the background and defaulted to stainless steel or matte black.
4.) CAVA Surfaces & Stone as a Showstopper
Another favorite highlight of ours is from CAVA Surfaces, an Ontario-based stone supplier that sources premium slabs from quarries around the world. If you wonder how a particular stone slab would look in a kitchen or bath, CAVA answered that question on the show floor. We can’t wait to talk about this in more detail at our KBIS Highlights event at our showroom next week.
5.) Modern Matter: Hardware as a Design Statement
Modern Matter is showing that hardware holds significant design impact. The luxury hardware brand made a great impression at the KBIS show.
